Welcome to The Global Leaders Assembly

building consensus through dialogue

About Us

We are a global civic diplomatic movement that helps stakeholders in global challenges gain insights and build consensus.

This is done by engaging thought leaders from around the world from business, academia, government and civil society.  Alumni of Georgetown University’s MSFS program lead groups that address and propose solutions to pressing global challenges.  We run thoughtful, constructive, non-partisan dialogues using both traditional means of in-person assemblies and cutting-edge technologies to advance our discussions and contribute to the resolution of problems affecting our global society.

Our Story

The Global Leaders Assembly was founded by a group of alumni of the Georgetown School of Foreign Service who were concerned about democracy and the state of global affairs.

They convened an MSFS Summit in Tarragona, Spain in October 2019 to debate the issue and shape possible actions. They set out to “reimagine global leadership”: find new ways to lead the world with core values such as democracy and fact-based truths.

This led to the insight that the world needs a neutral facilitator of structured stakeholder dialogues and today’s digital tech makes this possible.
